Dr Avalon Bryan (nee Moonen)

Dr Avalon Bryan completed Cardiology training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, followed by sub-specialty Fellowships in Structural (Valvular) Heart Disease, Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant. She has a post-graduate qualification in Advanced Echocardiography, and is currently undertaking a PhD in valvular heart disease and heart failure.

Her special interests include women’s health, preventative cardiology, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy and complex disease management. She believes that building relationships with patients, listening to their concerns, and understanding the person as a whole helps her deliver the highest quality of cardiac care.
