Consultant and Interventional Cardiologist

Biography

Dr Farrah Othman has special interests in women with cardiovascular disease, young persons, cardiometabolic diseases and complex coronary interventions. She completed her cardiology training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, prior to a 2-year high-volume interventional fellowship at the Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth, Western Australian.

Dr Othman is passionate about education, in particular simulation-based training in advanced life support and has been actively involved as a lecturer at University of Newcastle and Sydney throughout her career.  Dr Othman is a keen ultra-marathon runner and cyclist. She is passionate about empowering and facilitating her patients to return safely and with confidence to an active life.

Dr Othman is accredited to provide care at St George Private Hospital and The Mater Hospital .
