Dr Kais Hyasat

Biography

Dr Kais Hyasat graduated from Griffith University in Queensland. He completed his cardiology training at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2019. He then moved to Sydney and completed a two-year Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in Liverpool and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospitals with training in all aspects of percutaneous coronary intervention including intracoronary imaging, physiology assessment and stenting.

 Dr Hyasat is an Interventional and General Cardiologist who specialises in all areas of general cardiology including non-invasive imaging and cardiac catheterisation. He has a special interest in complex coronary disease, chest pain syndromes, coronary angiography, and stenting.

In addition to clinical work, Dr Hyasat maintains an interest in research and is currently undertaking a PhD through the University of New South Wales with a focus on the coronary microcirculation and its role in cardiovascular disease. He has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented at both national and international meetings. He is also a sub-investigator in several clinical research trials in Southwestern Sydney.
