Biography
Dr Richard Dunn completed medicine at Sydney University graduating with honours. His postgraduate training in cardiology was at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown. After finishing his specialization, Dr Dunn spent 4 years in research both at RPA and in San Francisco USA, predominantly in nuclear scanning and coronary artery disease.
In 1981, Dr Dunn was appointed Visiting Cardiologist at Lidcombe teaching Hospital and at the same time he started private practice in Bankstown, where he established the Bankstown Heart Clinic.
Since Lidcombe and Bankstown Hospitals merged, Dr Dunn has been a Senior Visiting Cardiologist at Bankstown Lidcombe Hospital, supporting it grow into an excellent cardiology unit with the appointment of numerous younger cardiologists.
Dr Dunn is a non-invasive cardiologist and has extensive experience in all facets of clinical cardiology.
